Thank you for visiting the website for the Northwest District
LCMS (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod) Middle School Youth Gathering. The
Gathering team can't wait to meet you and your group. We are
planning on having the best gathering yet!
I would like to introduce you to the Gathering theme,
"Lost in God'space". As youth experience middle school, many different
feelings overwhelm them. One feeling that many young people experience is
the sense of being lost. Not sure who their friends are this week, and
what clothes or personality to put on. These changes have caused some young
people to experiment with social networking (such as facebook
or myspace), or having a bit of a change in persona between home and school.
Often these young people feel like they need to change to be
accepted. Our goal at this gathering is to help middle school young people
understand the Lord Jesus Christ's love for them, as stated in our theme
verse:
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38,39.

Over the next few months this website will change and be updated (last update July 9). We are
planning on having a video tour of Wildhorse Canyon, along with tips for
traveling to the camp. We will have all the registration information
available online, along with Bible studies to prepare you and your
group for the best gathering possible.
